Rental Casket

Many families ask to rent a casket prior to cremation, to be used during the funeral, visitation, or memorial service. However, it's not always a matter of reducing the cost of a funeral. The reusable nature of rental caskets make them popular with environmentally-aware families.

After the funeral service, the funeral director removes the deceased from the rental casket and places he or she in an alternative cremation container. The body is then transported to the place of final disposition, most commonly a crematorium.
