Paul Baker
ALBANY Paul J. Baker, 58, of Hansen Ave. died Saturday March 11, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at St. Peter’s Hospital. Born in Troy he was son of Amy Kane Baker of Waterford and the late Donald R. Baker. He was a 1976 graduate of the former Keveny Memorial Academy and was a member of the basketball team there. In his younger years he carried the nickname “Dragoon”.

He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps. He was a member of the Northeastern Subcontractors Association. He enjoyed writing poetry and drawing as well as fishing and in his youth played CYO football. He was the “life of the party” and was an upbeat and positive person who never had a bad word to say about anyone.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his loving wife Kyung “ChaCha” Miller Baker and his devoted son Matthew P. Baker of Albany. He is the brother of Donald R. Baker (Diane) and Theresa (Terri) Baker of Waterford and Mary C. Potter (Robert) of Clifton Park. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
