Obituary for Lillian K. Charron (Keebler)

NISKAYUNA Lillian K. Charron, 96, of Providence Ave. and formerly of Waterford died Thursday March 16, 2017 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Albany she was daughter of the late Charles J. and Margaret Keebler. She was a 1938 graduate of St. John’s Academy in Rensselaer and a 1939 graduate of Milldred Elley School.

Lillian had been employed as a secretary for Mohawk Paper Mills in Cohoes from 1957 – 1976. Prior to that she worked for the Veterans Administration from 1942-1948. She was a Den Mother for both the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts when her sons were young boys.

Lillian was the widow of Thomas F. Charron who died in 1998. She is the mother of Richard M. Charron (Rebecca) of Waterford and the late Kevin J. Charron who died last year. His wife Donna Charron of Watervliet also survives. She is the proud grandmother of Kevin R. Charron, Melissa A. Utermark, Christopher R. Charron, Kimberly Phillips Hannigan and Lynn Phillips Migliore and great grandmother of Hailey Utermark.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte.32), Waterford. Entombment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie.

Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday prior to the funeral from 9-11 a.m.
