Francis E. "Frank" Roylance Jr.
WATERFORD Francis E. Roylance Jr., 80, of 2nd Ave. passed away suddenly Sunday April 30, 2017 at his residence. Born in Albany he was the son of the late Francis E. Roylance Sr. and Lena Jakaitis Roylance. He was a lifelong Waterford resident and graduate of Waterford High School.
Frank had been employed for 30 years at Norton Co., now St. Gobain and retired in 1993. He was a veteran of the US Navy and a member of Mohawk Post 1450 of the American Legion in Halfmoon. He was a life member of the F.B. Peck Hose Co. in Waterford and the Cohoes-Waterford Lodge of Elks. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed golfing.
Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years Doris Lanthier Roylance and his loving children Catherine E. Saccucci (Joe), Ellen M. Terry (Paul), John F.E. Roylance (Christine) and Neal E. Roylance (Laura) all of Waterford. He is the proud grandfather of Andrea Worthington (Brian), Katie Cushman (Greg), Joseph Saccucci (Maggie), Paul Terry Jr., Kevin Terry, Frank and Lynn Roylance, Andrew Meager (Nicole), Ashlee Estabrook (Marc), Timothy and Jeffrey Roylance, Justin and Christopher Berardi. Six great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 9 a.m. from the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte.32), Waterford and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Waterford. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Waterford.
Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-7 pm.
