COLONIE Kimberly Finn-Chura, 51, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Ellis Hospital on Sunday November 12, 2017.
She was a member of the Center for Disability Services and was very active in their community service projects such as her work at the library and delivering Meals on Wheels. Kimmy loved dancing, everything Elvis, vacation time at the dude ranch, macaroni and cheese, donuts (with sprinkles), and being with her family and friends.
She is survived by her parents, Walter and Elizabeth J. DePalma Chura, her brothers, Jeremy and David Chura and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 9 am at St. Luke’s Church, 1421 State St. Schenectady. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Waterford.
Relatives and friends may visit at the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad ST. (Rte.32), Waterford on Friday from 4-7 pm.
Rather than flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to The McClellan Residence at Center for Disability Services, 314 So. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
Kim’s family would like to express their gratitude for the love and care provided by her McClellan Home family over the years.
