Obituary for Casimir Blazejeski

Casimir  Blazejeski
WATERFORD Casimir S. Blazejeski, 87, of Middletown Rd. died Thursday April 26, 2018 at his son’s residence in Malta, surrounded by his loving family. Born and educated in Watervliet he was the son of the late Casimir and Mary Louise Bielawa Blazejewski.

Casimir had been employed for 41 years at Al-Tech Specialty Steel Co. and retired in 1993. He was a member of the Halfmoon Senior Citizens, and a life member of the Halfmoon Waterford Fire Department, the American Legion Mohawk Post 1450 and Watervliet Lodge of Elks #1500.

He was the devoted husband of the late Eileen Clancy Blazejeski who died in 2017 and loving father of David C. Blazejeski (Beverly) of Waterford, Diane B. Brown (Martin) of Saratoga, Mark A. Blazejeski (Katherine) of Staten Island and Paul E. Blazejeski (Maureen) of Malta. He is the brother of, Dorothy Kennison of Niskayuna, the late Carl Blazejewski, Marianne Cable, Genevieve Shufelt and Alberta Simmons. 9 Grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be Monday at 9 a.m. from the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte.32), Waterford and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Waterford. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Waterford.

Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 3-6 pm.

Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Community Hospice, 179 Lawrence St. Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 or St. Mary of the Assumption Church or St. Mary’s School in care of the funeral home office.

Special thanks are extended to Saratoga Hospice and Saratoga Hospital for the excellent care given to our father.
