Obituary for Christine Morse-Sicko

Christine  Morse-Sicko
WATERFORD Christine Morse-Sicko, 36, of 3rd Ave. passed away Friday September 14, 2018 at Albany Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Albany she is the daughter of Raymond and Christine Bleau Morse. She was a graduate of Waterford High School Class of 2000 and also a graduate of Plattsburgh State and SUNY Albany.

Christine has been employed for the past 10 years as the Deputy Director of Research for the NYS Assembly. Prior to that she had been employed by the Waterford Parks, Soccer Unlimited, Seton Health and Mc Donald’s. She was a member of Alpha Phi Sorority. Always ready to volunteer her time and talents, Christine coached Waterford Youth Baseball, coached young women in girls’ softball and ran in races for the benefit of multiple nonprofit organizations. She loved her family and sarcasm and she was an avid Mets fan.

Survivors in addition to her parents include her devoted husband Robert J. Sicko, her loving children Julianna Sicko and Matthew Sicko. She is the sister of Todd J. Morse (Tracy) and sister in law of Joe and Megan Sicko of Waterford, granddaughter of David and Juanita Bleau of Waterford and aunt of Domonic J. Morse. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as her canine companion Marley.

Funeral from the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St., Waterford on Wednesday at 11 a.m.

Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Waterford.

Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-7 pm
